My name is Kenan Griffus.

I started tattooing in 2019 at the Platinum Koi in Huntsville, Alabama where I was given the opportunity to be an apprentice. Following my time at that shop, I decided to pursue something completely unrelated to art, but still found that tattooing is what really got me going! I began working at Stay Gold South side in Birmingham, Alabama in late 2020. As I spent more time as an artist I began to realize what work I liked to do; specifically that I enjoyed creating some good ole’ anime pieces! Following my employment at Stay Gold, I spent some time traveling before I began working at Unhallowed Gallery (fun fact: I originally met the Unhallowed bois at Stay Gold) in Birmingham, Alabama—which is my most recent place of work. Currently, I am working out of Birmingham, Alabama in a private studio.

I specialize in black and grey anime tattoos. I also incorporate whip-shading into all of my pieces. As of late, I have began taking on more portrait work—which is something I would definitely like to do more of as I move forward as an artist. I look forward to working with you in the future and hope to give you a memorable tattoo experience!
